Another New Site

Hope to fly this new NE site soon (should take wind directions NE to SE). Today's winds were too strong and northerly. Beautiful views over Omeath, North of Carlingford.

On/Off Day

Winds were NNW at Mayobridge's NW site so flew Mayobridge's N site. Strong winds at times but lots of scratching looking for the elusive lift. Back to NW Site where conditions improved in the afternoon but winds were still off and gusty at times. Mark (Tandem), Maureen, Ken, Ian and myself all had good flights

Nice day at Dunany

SE Winds today meant Dunany was gonna be flyable, and so it was. Nice flying conditions until early afternoon when winds got a lot stronger with the sea breeze. Robert and myself had the ridge to ourselves as other pilots went south of Dublin. Hope they were as lucky as us.

Today at Gyles Quay

Early morning flights at Gyles Quay, but  the SSE winds were a lot lighter than forecast. This low ridge needs wind speed of at least 14mph for good soaring. Short flights but enjoyable nevertheless. Lots out walking their dogs in the nice sunshine.
